Winter Wonder Lights

New!

Bring your family and friends to Peck Farm Park starting December 14 to take in the beautiful holiday lights at Peck Farm Park. Lights will remain on daily from December 14-January 1 from 5-10pm. Visitors can stroll through the illuminated pathways, and take in the twinkling splendor. No registration or fees required to walk the Winter Wonder Lights.

Winter Wonder Lights Celebration Kickoff

Saturday, Dec. 14 | 5-8pm | Peck Farm Park

The Winter Wonder Lights Kickoff event is a magical celebration that transforms the beautiful Peck Farm Park into a dazzling display of lights and holiday cheer. This free event features an array of activities, including:

  • Courtyard illumination (5:00pm sharp)
  • Family visits/photos with Santa (pre-registration required)
  • Crafts & cookie decorating
  • Hot cocoa & s’mores by the fire pit
  • Letters to Santa
  • Holiday music

Family Visits/Photos With Santa – Space is limited!

Drop your wish list in-person and make a family memory with Santa. Digital and printed photos will be provided.

Winter Wonder Lights Tree Decorating

Saturday, Dec. 14 | 5-8pm | Peck Farm Park | Registration Required

Decorate a tree for the winter season at Peck Farm Park that highlights your organization during our two-week long light celebration. Trees and lights are provided, but decorations are supplied by you. For information regarding this tree decorating program contact Adam at ADagley@genevaparks.com or 630-262-8244.

Gingerbread Barn Raising

Thursday, Dec. 19 | 5-7pm | Peck Farm Park | Registration Required

Get your own gingerbread barn and start decorating! Enjoy hot cocoa and holiday music, while you and the family decorate your gingerbread barn to take home. Start a new winter tradition! Registration includes your very own gingerbread barn, plus frosting,
assorted candies and cookies for decorating! One registration covers the whole family (up to six people per barn). Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. This event will take place at the Orientation Barn at Peck Farm Park.

Bagpipes & Bonfire on the Winter Solstice

Saturday, Dec. 21 | 6:30-7:30pm | Peck Farm Picnic Shelter | Registration Required

Winter Solstice traditions all around the world feature bagpipes playing traditional music. Join us as we bring this special music to a winter bonfire! Celebrate the longest night of the year and the beginning of longer days. Price includes bonfire, bagpipe show, and a hot beverage to keep you warm.
