Earth Day Celebration

2025 Date: Saturday, April 19
Time: 11:00am-1:00pm
Location: Peck Farm Park, 4038 Kaneville Road, Geneva, IL 60134

The Geneva Park District and City of Geneva’s Natural Resources Committee invite you to the annual Earth Day Celebration from 11am-1pm Saturday, April 19 at Peck Farm Park.
The event is free to attend.
 
Activities include:
-Small electronics recycling (additional items can be recycled for a fee)
-Food vendors
-Paper shredding
-Chalk art
-Tomato plant & flowers giveaway (while supplies last)
-Native planting – full! If you are registered, please bring your own shovel if available. 
 
Recycling opportunities:
-Free household item recycling: Shoes, cotton clothes, small electronics, & holiday lights
-TV & computer monitor recycling: Less than 21″ – $25 / TV fee 22″ or greater – $35
-Paper shredding – Free! Sponsored by LRS
-Flat Can Recycling will also offer recycling of household items for a fee. Items include: Latex paint cans, household batteries, aerosol products, propane, CO2 & smoke detectors, and car seats.
