Prairie Playschool at Peck Farm Park is an outdoor play-based learning experience for kids ages 3 to 5 years old. Together students explore the natural environment while they learn age-appropriate skills and concepts. We spend time outdoors and develop a caring and curious relationship between students and nature. Classes are held 100% outdoors – weather permitting.
I Have a 3-Year-Old
About: This is a nature-based, early childhood program set within the scenic grounds of Peck Farm Park. Our enriching playschool provides young learners with an introduction to social settings. We focus on the development of essential interpersonal skills in a supportive, play-centered environment. Through guided activities, children engage with their natural surroundings and foster a deep appreciation and curiosity for the environment around them. With experienced educators, interactive learning, and abundant outdoor exploration, Prairie Playschool nurtures each child’s growth while cultivating a love for the wonders of nature.
Eligibility: Child must be potty trained (NO pull-ups or diapers). Children must be 3 years old on or before 9/1/2025 to attend our 3 year-old program.

About: This program deepens young learners’ connection to nature while continuing to build essential social skills. This program expands on foundational interpersonal skills by engaging children in collaborative activities that will inspire teamwork and empathy. Through hands-on exploration and age-appropriate investigations, children take an in-depth look at natural processes like plant growth, animal habits, and seasonal changes. Guided by experienced educators, they uncover the interconnectedness of the natural world, fostering both curiosity and respect for the environment in a playful, immersive outdoor setting.

How to Register for the 2025-26 School Year:
Please note – registration for Residents starts at 8:30am Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2024.
Registration for Non-Residents begins at 8:30am Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2024.
- Register online at the buttons above, over the phone or in person.
- Complete payment instructions. The annual tuition is divided into an installment plan, which includes a one-time deposit of $50 and 9 equal monthly installments, based on the school calendar. Completed registration includes $50 deposit, completed ePACT forms and set-up of installment billing.
2025-26 Important Dates
- December 10, 2024: Resident registration begins
- December 17, 2024: Non-resident registration begins
- August 15, 2025: Cancelation deadline is at 5pm for the 2025-26 school year.
- September 1, 2025: ePACT forms must be completed by 5pm.
Cancelation Information
Cancellations for the Peck Farm Prairie Playschool program must be received by 5 pm, 8/15/2025. An application for refund form must be completed as cancellation verification. Deposits will not be refunded after this date. It is possible to receive a $25 refund if we fill your spot before 8/25/2025.
