Friendship Station Preschool is guided by the philosophy of learning through play! Our lead teachers all have Bachelor of Arts degrees in early childhood education or a related field and receive ongoing training. Our program follows Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) Standards and provides appropriate activities to enhance the literacy of the young child.
Children learn to share, create, cooperate, interact, and solve problems in a supportive and interesting environment. Because each child is individual and unique, emphasis is placed on developing a positive self-image. Support for all children is provided by loving, knowledgeable staff in a collaborative working partnership with each family.

Jan. 16: Preschool Open House for new students from 5:30-7pm
Feb. 5: New Student registration forms due to Sunset Community Center (710 Western Ave) by 5pm
Feb. 6: Random Resident Registration processing of new student forms begins
Feb. 13: Non-Resident registration begins
July 14: Cancellation deadline at 5pm for the 2025-26 school year
July 15: All Day Classes will be charged a $35 mat fee
