Friendship Station Registration Forms Due February 5
New student registration forms for Friendship Station Preschool are due by 5pm Feb. 5 at Sunset Community Center, 710 Western Ave. We will begin processing Residents Feb. 6 and Non-Residents on Feb. 13! We offer options for 3/4-year-olds and 4/5-year-olds and Enrichment classes to extend the learning and play experience.
Friendship Station Preschool is guided by the philosophy of learning through play! Our lead teachers all have Bachelor of Arts degrees in early childhood education or a related field and receive ongoing training. Our program follows Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) Standards and provides appropriate activities to enhance the literacy of the young child.
Children learn to share, create, cooperate, interact, and solve problems in a supportive and interesting environment. Because each child is individual and unique, emphasis is placed on developing a positive self-image. Support for all children is provided by loving, knowledgeable staff in a collaborative working partnership with each family.
