Outdoor Ice Skating Options (Weather Permitting)
The outdoor ice complex at Wheeler Park, located on North Street/Rt. 31 in Geneva, next to
Stone Creek Miniature Golf Course has three sheets of ice available: one dedicated for
general skating and two for hockey.
An additional outdoor ice skating option is available in the Mill Creek Pool Parking Lot.
A warming shelter is available at Wheeler Park from 4:00 - 7:00 pm Monday-Friday, and
11:00 am - 4:00 pm Saturdays, Sundays and/or school holidays when ice is skateable.
Skating is permitted until 10:00 pm daily, lights are available at both locations.
There is no warming shelter at Mill Creek Pool Parking Lot.
Please note: skating is no longer available at Jaycee or Sunset Park.
Did You Know?
Creating the ice is an interesting process. In order for the appropriate amount of ice to be prepared, the temperature has to remain at 20 degrees or below for at least 48 hours.
Once we have reached those ideal conditions, the process of forming ice will begin and enjoyment of skating follows. Thanks for your patience.
